“CDC has a warm and inviting feel, and I’m happy to have my child attend this year and for a few years to come. Teacher to student ratio is important, and I feel CDC does a great job.” - Parent of a full-time student
“We have loved the CDC. Our son is learning so much. He loves his friends and his teachers. It amazes us when he comes home and knows all of the colors in Spanish, writes his name, and knows so many new vocabulary words.” - Parent of a 3-year-old full-time student
“The personnel and curriculum really make the CDC a wonderful place for our children. Their teachers are fantastic and so caring!” - Parent of an infant in full-time program
Outdoor play, healthy foods, an emotionally secure environment, and lots of opportunities to play and socialize are only a few of the things that help children grow and learn. Our full-time teachers are dedicated to creating a caring environment that meets all of the developmental needs of young children.
Each full-time classroom has one Lead Teacher and at least two Assistant Teachers. We require all Lead Teachers to have a degree and all Assistants to have completed early childhood coursework. Using The Creative Curriculum® as a guide, they develop thematic units and center-based activities to meet the needs of the whole child throughout the day.
Full-time classes are open from 7 a.m. to 6:15 p.m., Monday through Friday. This is a year-round program, which begins new classes in the fall.
Children between the ages of 2 months and 5 years (pre-kindergarten) are eligible to enroll. |
